On Saturday, May 12, Streamside held it’s 2nd annual Mountain Climb-a-thon.  21 of us made the ascent up Big Pocono (2,132 ft) in just over an hour. Upon arrival at the summit, we asked the question, “why did we climb?” The answer was, “we climbed so they can climb!”  Climbing Big Pocono is one of the many memorable activities that make up a summer week at Streamside.

Later that evening, we gathered for a meal to celebrate what was accomplished.  The events of the day raised $2,275.00 for campeships.  Thank you to all the climbers and those who sponsored their climb.  This event has given us a great start to raising enough campership funds to provide a life-changing week of camp to those who need it most. More is still needed.  You can give on-line at https://bcm21697.thankyou4caring.org/streamside
