Our primary goal is to present to our campers the Good News of Christ's love for them,
and to disciple them as they grow in their relationship with the Lord. |

Much of this process takes place informally as the campers are involved in various activities around camp including archery, horseback riding, canoeing, crafts, drama, choir, nature, backpacking and camping, sports and games, first-aid, swimming, Bible class, fishing, repelling or rock climbing....to name a few.

Many of our campers shoot an arrow, paddle a canoe, cook out, sleep out or climb Big Pocono Mountain for the first time in their life. (Some staff do too!)

But even more important than this, precious young people hear for the first time that God DOES love them. God DOES care for them, and He DOES have a life of meaning and purpose for them. Will YOU tell them?

But Streamside is not just a place for campers. More often than not, the Lord allows Streamside to become a place of intense growth, fulfillment, and life-long friendships for staff as well. You will very likely meet and minister side by side with many other believers literally from across the globe. We have had

Christian camping is without a doubt one of the most interesting, exciting, rewarding and downright difficult experiences imaginable and your interest in  seeking the Lord's direction through this channel is a proof to us not only of your desire to be employed, but also your willingness to follow the Lord's direction wherever it may lead.
God may not be calling you to go to Asia, South America or Africa, but He may be calling you to eastern Pennsylvania to serve Him in reaching over 500 young people and children who represent unlimited potential. These young people need love, a Christian role model, and the Lord Jesus.
There are a variety of opportunities that are available for you at Streamside. Staff is divided into three categories—Core Staff, Program Staff and Support Staff. Each part of the staff "BODY" is vital to the effectiveness of a summer at camp. The opportunities at camp can help you put your skills to work, fine-tune your skills, or develop new skills. Summer staff arrive in mid-June and leave in August.
In addition to having a great opportunity to serve the Lord and fellow mankind, you would receive a week of leadership training, up to $2500.00 in salary & support, plus room and board, a valuable missionary experience, and a superb summer!!! Experience is helpful, but not mandatory. What IS necessary is a dynamic relationship with the Lord Jesus, a love for kids, a desire to learn, grow, and do things you never did before, and a willingness to work for God's glory.

reach out with the savior's love to those in need.
Inner-city children are in tremendous need!
They will shape the future of our country
and of our world. |
The enemy knows this, and so he is doing everything he can to attack them—
from the indoctrination of evolution at school, to sensual media, to conflicts at home.
They need to know the Way, the Truth, and the Life. They need Jesus! |
