Mountain View Lodge is a Pennsylvania Dutch barn, built in 1853 and remodeled in the mid
1980s, then re-remodeled at the turn of the millennium. There are 6 separate cabins within the Lodge all of which have there own washrooms and direct outside
access. The LODGE
provides sleeping for about 80. |

The rooms themselves provide a real sense of heritage with
many of the original hand hewn rough-cut barn
beams still in tact and in plain view.
|
| Both porches of Mountain
View Lodge offer commanding views. The front porch offers a beautiful view of Camelback
Mountain
with ancient evergreens in the foreground as well as the original carriage house,
and the old farmhouse across the road. The Back porch offers a
view of practically the whole camp, especially when the trees are
bare. |

Each cabin is provided with its own
convenient and comfortable seating area directly out it's door. |
