Support Staff
Kitchen Aide
Qualifications:
 |
Must be at least 14 and preferably be at least 16 years of age.
|
 |
Must have physical ability and stamina.
|
 |
Must have satisfactorily completed the camp staff application.
|
Responsibilities:
 |
Be a spiritual example to the campers and fellow staff members.
|
 |
Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of the meals according to the planned menus and dining time schedules.
|
 |
Assist in camp program areas where requested.
|
 |
Participate in the Support staff Prayer & Praise time and Staff Bible Study.
|
Dining Room Host
Qualifications:
 |
Should have leadership ability with some understanding of personnel management.
|
 |
Should have a pleasing, out-going personality.
|
 |
Must have satisfactorily completed the camp staff application.
|
Responsibilities:
 |
To be a spiritual leader and example to the dining room workers.
|
 |
To help lead weekly Bible Studies for the junior staff members.
|
 |
To be "counselor" to the junior staff during "off-duty" hours.
|
 |
To oversee the care and operation of the camp dining area and dish room facility.
|
 |
To train and supervise the dining room workers in performing their responsibilities. This includes:
 |
The setting up of tables
|
 |
Washing the dishes
|
 |
Cleaning the dish room and dining room
|
 |
Caring for the dining hall laundry
|
 |
The supervision and/or assignment of other tasks which may be given to the dining room workers.
|
|
 |
To see that meal guests are made welcome, informed of proper changes, seated and properly served.
|
 |
To keep track of food subsidy and Dining Hall information.
|
 |
To give written evaluation of each dining room worker.
|
 |
To participate in the A.M. Staff Prayer & Praise time.
|
Dining Room Workers
Qualifications:
 |
Must be at least 14 and preferably be at least 16 years of age.
|
 |
Must have physical ability and stamina.
|
 |
Must have satisfactorily completed the camp staff application.
|
Responsibilities:
 |
Be a spiritual example to the campers and fellow staff members.
|
 |
Work together with t he rest of the team to:
 |
Properly set up the place settings
|
 |
Wash and stack the dishes
|
 |
Clean the dish room and dining room
|
 |
Wash the dining hall laundry.
|
|
 |
Willingly accept miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Dining Room Host.
|
 |
Assist in camp program areas where requested.
|
 |
Participate in the Support Staff Prayer & Praise time and Staff Bible Study.
|
Maintenance Team
Qualifications:
 |
Must be at least 16 years of age.
|
 |
Must have physical ability and stamina to do heavy work.
|
 |
Must have a servant's heart, a willing attitude, and a desire to do things well.
|
 |
Must have satisfactorily completed the camp staff application.
|
Responsibilities:
 |
Be a spiritual example to the campers and other staff members.
|
 |
Assist the Maintenance Team in the cleaning, and maintenance of camp buildings, grounds, and equipment. This may include such chores as scrubbing, waxing, dusting, buffing, garden & lawn care, trash collection, pool maintenance, equipment repair, safety inspections, and new construction as assigned by the Head of Maintenance or his representative.

To assist in camp program areas as time permits and with the permission of the Head of Maintenance.

To participate in the Support Staff Prayer & Praise time and the Staff Bible Study.
