2017 is Streamside’s 75th Anniversary.  We have 2 events planned to celebrate…

  1. Saturday, May 13, 2017:  Mountain Climb-a-thon
  2. Friday, October 13, 2017:  Streamside Night at the Frequency Conference

The first event will be a Mountain Climb-a-thon and Awards Dinner on Saturday, May 13, 2017.  This day will feature a mountain climb led by Nature Joe to benefit Streamside camperships. We are asking you to consider climbing Big Pocono (elevation 2,132 feet) with us and asking others to sponsor your climb on behalf of the children and teens needing financial assistance to attend a life changing week of camp at Streamside.  Use the enclosed/attached form to sign up your sponsors and register for the event. We are suggesting a minimum of $50 in sponsorship to participate in the climb. Each person completing the climb will receive an “I Climbed Big Pocono”         t-shirt, water bottle and towel. Those raising the most sponsorship will be recognized at the Awards Dinner.  Not able to climb?  You can still join us for the events of the day including the Open House and Awards Dinner.

Streamside’s Mountain Climb-a-thon: Saturday, May 13, 2017

  • 8:00 – 9:00 AM – Breakfast ($8 per person)
  • 9:00 – 10:00 AM – Registration
  • 9:00 – 4:00 PM – Open House Camp Activities
  • (Archery, Bounce House, Hayrides, Boating, Fishing, Mole Run, Face Painting, Snack Shop)
  • 10:30 AM – Shuttles to foot of Big Pocono
  • 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM – Climb-a-thon
  • 3:00 PM – Return Shuttles
  • 5:00 – 7:00 PM – Awards Dinner ($15 per person/ $10 a person for climbers)
  • Optional Lodging options for Friday or Saturday nights ($20 per person in cabin/$50 for a guest room)
