2022 Speakers & Theme

Is the Bible Trustworthy? Is Jesus the Only Way? Who am I?

How do I defend the Gospel?

Three speakers will address these questions and present the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount showing us how the Bible prepares us for the Valleys after being taught on the Mountain!

Chad Strausbaugh placed his faith in Jesus Christ at age 18, two weeks after graduating from Quakertown Community in 2008. He graduated from Liberty University in 2012 with a passion for preaching God’s Word. He married his wife Abby, who he met at Streamside, in 2014. They serve on the leadership team at Pinebrook Bible Conference in East Stroudsburg, PA today. They are passionate about being used by God to connect with people. They want to point people toward Christ and give God all the glory.

Mark Cicchinelli grew up in a strong Christian family less than an hour outside of Philadelphia. He is a 1998 graduate of Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University), where he played soccer and basketball. He spent a number of summers working at a camp near Allentown, PA, and served full-time at Pinebrook Bible Conference in Stroudsburg, PA and Camp ECCO in Carrollton, OH. He now resides in Jim Thorpe, PA with his wife and two teenage boys.

From the mountain to the valleys Psalm 121:1

Marc Hoyle is a missionary kid, born and raised in France. A graduate from Temple University, he lived in Philadelphia for 14 years and partnered with faith-based city organizations until his family went into full-time missions, ultimately living in France. Returning to the US 5 years ago, Marc now serves BCM as USA Director.

As a special Saturday performance, Character Juggler Chris Ivey will display his unique juggling excellence that earned him a Gold Medal at the 2002 World Juggling Championships. He has performed on numerous television programs and theaters such as the AMT, Reading Sovereign Center and Fulton Opera House. Chris’s creative mixture of ministry and juggling spreads the Gospel in new and exciting ways.

Camp Registration Information

Winter Blast is open to both individual campers and Junior / Senior High School groups (Ages 7-16 years old). Come with your youth group and let Streamside handle the entire weekend of programming. From activities, food, music, and Biblical curriculum – we have you covered!

Additionally each youth group will be given their own cabin accommodations where available, and our programming schedule includes group-specific breakout sessions for your flexibility. This approach allows group leaders to focus on relationship-building while we handle the overhead of programming. All campers must register in our system individually, even if you are with a group.

Helpful Tips for Campers & Families

Streamside is following CDC recommendations in dealing with COVID. Social distancing will be respected wherever possible, and much of our programming has been augmented to allow for a fun and safe experience for kids and staff.

Our mealtime protocols have also changed to ensure that food is safe from contaminants for our guests.

From here they will prepare for the first teaching and activity session!

A small meal will be provided during check-in.

Check-out occurs between 1-2pm on Sunday, February 13th. Please be prompt in picking your child up from Streamside, as our volunteers and counselors begin to head home at 2pm.
