Theme: Unleashing the Power of Family and Preparing for Mission
As we finish our series on the art of parenting, we will learn how to be intentional in preparing our children for adulthood. We will focus on how to leave a legacy that will last for generations. Together, we will learn to…
- Begin the gradual process of releasing our children
- Give our children the freedom to fail
- Guide our children in making wise choices on who and what they allow to influence them
- Pray regularly for our children
- Overcome our own mistakes and shortcomings
- Extend our influence for multiple generations
Bob and Sue Eden, local volunteers with the Pregnancy Resource Center of the Poconos, will be with us for the fourth year leading seminars on “Unleashing the Power of the Family and Preparing for Mission” utilizing materials from FamilyLife’s Art of Parenting. There will be separate age appropriate programming for children and teens.
